The International Journal of Politics, Culture, and Society welcomes original articles on issues arising at the intersection of nations, states, civil societies, and global institutions and processes. The editors are particularly interested in article manuscripts dealing with changing patterns in world economic and political institutions: analysis of ethnic groups, social classes, religions, personal networks, and special interests: changes in mass culture, propaganda, and technologies of communication and their social effects: and the impact of social transformations on the changing order of public and private life. The journal is interdisciplinary in orientation and international in scope, and is not tethered to particular theoretical or research traditions. The journal presents material of varying length, from research notes to article-length monographs.

The International Journal of Press/Politics (IJPP), published quarterly, is an interdisciplinary journal for the analysis and discussion of the role of the press and politics in a globalized world. The Journal publishes theoretical and empirical research which analyzes the linkages between the news media and political processes and actors.

IJPA is an international, research-driven, peer-reviewed, publication aimed at exploring the latest developments in public administration and management 8211; translating theory for practice and practice into theory. Our aim is to be truly global in scope, covering developed, emerging and transitional states and all areas of public activity. We welcome both individual country-based and especially comparative work. Our target audience is not just scholars, but also policy-makers and practitioners, including aspiring public sector leaders engaged in education and research in the growing global MPA community. We want to draw on the latest research 8211; whether carried out by scholars or practitioners or indeed collaborations. We aim 8211; and encourage 8211; the reporting of this research to be as clear and accessible as possible to the widest possible audience, whilst maintaining the necessary rigour and scholarly standards. IJPA will include not just cutting edge research, but also: feature interviews or opinion pieces from leading scholars and policy-makers; a resources section for scholars and practitioners; occasional symposia and debates; and themed issues of topics of special interest. If the article meets the general expectations of a scholarly article, it is usually sent out to two blind reviewers. It can then be accepted, resubmitted with attention to the reviewer(s)' comments, or rejected. The International Journal of Public Health is an independent journal of the non-profit Swiss School of Public Health. IJPH publishes scientific articles relevant to global public health, from different countries and cultures, and assembles them into issues that raise awareness and understanding of public health problems and solutions. The Journal welcomes submissions of original research, critical and relevant reviews, methodological papers, and manuscripts that emphasize theoretical content. IJPH sometimes publishes commentaries and opinions. Published for over 30 years, International Journal of Public Sector Management (IJPSM) is a valuable resource for both academics and public managers. IJPSM publishes research on all aspects of public organizations, including management, governance and reform.

Public theology is the result of the growing need for theology to interact with public issues of contemporary society. It seeks to engage in dialogue with different academic disciplines such as politics, economics, cultural studies, religious studies, as well as with spirituality, globalization and society in general. The International Journal of Public Theology, affiliated with the Global Network for Public Theology, is a platform for original interdisciplinary research in the field of public theology.

qualitative research methods

The aim of the International Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education (popularly known as QSE) is to enhance the practice and theory of qualitative research in education, with 8220;education8221; defined in the broadest possible sense, including non-school settings. QSE publishes peer-reviewed empirical research employing a variety of qualitative methods and approaches, such as ethnographic observation and interviewing, grounded theory, life history, case study, curriculum criticism, policy studies, narrative, ethnomethodology, social and educational critique, phenomenology, deconstruction, genealogy, autoethnography, etc. In addition, innovative or provocative approaches to qualitative research as well as the way research is reported are encouraged. Theoretical papers are also welcome. We publish discussions of epistemology, methodology, or ethics of qualitative research from a range of perspectives, including (but not limited to) interpretivism, constructivism, critical theory, feminism, and race-based, lesbian/gay/bi/transgender (including queer theory), and poststructural ones. Furthermore, there is a strong interest in qualitative research conducted by researchers throughout the world, and the Journal publishes book reviews. International Journal of Qualitative Studies on Health and Well-being acknowledges the international and interdisciplinary nature of health-related issues. It intends to provide a meeting-point for studies using rigorous qualitative methodology of significance for issues related to human health and well-being. The aim of the International Journal of Qualitative Studies on Health and Well-being is to support and to shape the emerging field of qualitative studies and to encourage a better understanding of all aspects of human health and well-being. The journal emphasizes empirical research and theory in basic and applied health care, especially with an international focus, but will also welcome local and national contributions. At least one article out of the six to eight in each issue will be reserved for philosophical issues related to qualitative research in the health area.
