Angiogenesis is an international peer-reviewed journal devoted to the publication of top quality original articles and reviews on the cellular and molecular mechanisms that regulate angiogenesis in physiological and pathological conditions. As a central source for rapid communications representing the full spectrum of angiogenesis research, this multidisciplinary journal publishes innovative experimental studies using molecular, in vitro, animal model systems and clinical investigations of angiogenic diseases. Angiogenesis also reports on novel therapeutic approaches for promoting or inhibiting angiogenesis as well as new markers and techniques for disease diagnosis and prognosis.

Angiologia e Cirurgia Vascular is the official journal of SPACV, the Sociedade Portuguesa de Angiologia e Cirurgia Vascular. It publishes peer reviewed articles related to research, diagnosis, and treatment of vascular diseases.

A presentation of original, peer-reviewed articles and case reports relative to all phases of all vascular diseases, Angiology offers more than a typical cardiology journal. With approximately 1000 pages per year covering diagnostic methods, therapeutic approaches, and clinical and laboratory research, Angiology is among the most informative publications in the field of peripheral vascular and cardiovascular diseases. The journal also publishes special issues and supplements relating to specific topics of current interest to surgeons and internists.

The first issue of ANGIOLOGIA was published in 1949 and the Spanish Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery (Sociedad Española de Angiología y Cirugía Vascular) was founded in 1959. The Journal became the official organ of this society in 1980. ANGIOLOGÍA is a bimonthly scientific publication dedicated to the spreading of knowledge and new techniques in the speciality.

For several decades, George W. Hahn's 1955 classic account of "The History and Philosophy of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontia" has been essential reading for every new or prospective or reflective member of the Angle Society. It is here reproduced in its original form, as published privately by the Society in 1956, with only minor typographical improvements. Wendell Wylie's salient preface for the original essay is retained in this electronic edition, as are the references to our Society under its former name, the Edward H. The journal of English philology, Anglia, was founded in 1878 by Moritz Trautmann and Richard P. Wülker, and is thus the oldest journal of English studies. Anglia covers a large part of the expanding field of English philology. It publishes essays on the English language and linguistic history, on English literature of the Middle Ages and the Modern period, on American literature, the newer literature in the English language, and on general and comparative literary studies, also including cultural and literary theory aspects. Further, Anglia contains reviews from the areas mentioned.

Anglo Saxonica is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes original and innovative research on a variety of issues relevant to the study of English(es), broadly understood both as language and as all the literatures and cultures of the English-speaking world. In so doing, Anglo Saxonica also promotes dialogue among English-speaking geocultural areas. Its editorial policy promotes the thematic cohesion of each volume, open to different academic approaches on current issues in English and American studies, including original research articles, reviews, interviews and selections of creative writing. The journal also publishes special issues with a particular thematic focus that are guest-edited by leading scholars in the field.

All the works submitted, in English or in Portuguese, are subjected to initial appraisal by the editors and, if found suitable for further consideration, to double blind peer review by independent expert referees.

Anglo Saxonica is indexed in Scopus, ERIH PLUS and MLA Directory of Periodicals and is hosted at the University of Lisbon Centre for English Studies.
